It has been a somewhat quieter week within the lifestyle property market - whilst there is still plenty going on behind the scenes the rate of new listings coming to the market has slowed, with the number of available listings across the region dropping to 125 currently. This is not unusual for this time of year, when the temps drop considerably and the days are shorter. The good news is however, our vendors do become more motivated to see a result, yet quite a few buyers will park their buying plans until spring. That means there are some excellent buying opportunities, perhaps with less buyer competition. Winter is a great time to buy, as there are many questions that are difficult to answer in the drier, warmer months - is the home warm and dry, how does the land look under the wet, where and when does the sun hit the property on these shorter days?
