This Week's Lifestyle Properties and Open Homes

Another week has whizzed by so that we're halfway through May already!

Whilst the sales for April were considerably down from March for the lifestyle sector, residential sales have been on the improve. Generally, this would result in an influx of new buyers to the lifestyle market. However, many of the residential sales are investors shedding some of their rental portfolio - these subsequently fall into the first home buyer price bracket resulting in sales that are transactional in nature, not generating any further real estate exchanges.

In the lifestyle market, whilst we are finding that many buyers prefer to have all their ducks in a row before acting, those buyers who are ready to make their move now have the pick of the bunch with less competition from either the existing buyer pool or the few new lifestyle buyers. So, if you are (or almost) ready to push the purchasing button, now is a great time to act! Please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss further.
