This Week's Lifestyle Properties and Open Homes

Currently there are 170 lifestyle listings on the market (20 Napier and 150 Hastings), which is a big number, but we have seen days on the market decreasing which supports the level of activity we have seen. The decrease in days on the market is a positive sign, and it suggests there has been more competition on the market. The ongoing petrol concerns will begin to creep into the buyers mindset and there will be general concern about how the war in Iran will affect the economy overall. These things make now a really good time to buy as not only will it be important to lock in good rates, but in a lot of cases, the willingness to sell is increased when the future is somewhat unclear so decision making around selling when presented with good genuine offers can be smoother.
