Whether you loved it or hated it, this budget certainly delivered some polarising policies. Let hope the "No BS" ("No Big Spending") approach actually delivers on its promises.
REINZ report 14 lifestyle and rural sales across the Hawke's Bay region thus far for May, covering a broad base from a Cat 3 bare land property in the Esk Valley to two top-end lifestyle properties located outside of the town boundaries. There are several properties sold that have been on the market for a considerable length of time. This just goes to show not only the huge diversity of buyers currently in the market but also the potential to open up negotiations with those vendors who have been waiting to achieve their results. Perhaps what was once slightly out of budget range, may now just be achievable as some vendors look to readjust their expectations.
