There are 155 total lifestyle listings on the market at the moment, there were 18 lifestyle sales for the month of May and 10 of which sold in less than 90 days. There is a lot available, but it is moving at a relatively decent pace. We also haven’t seen a lot of new listings coming to market, which is typical for this time of year. There is an opportunity here to secure your next move as many sellers will be wanting to see a result before the new Spring listings begin to arrive. This may mean they are more willing to negotiate if an offer isn’t quite where they want it to be. It’s not to say bargains are out there, we still work for the seller, but if you are looking to engage in a meaningful negotiation on a property you have been considering, now is the perfect time in the market/season to do that. The factors are lined up nicely and with interest rate rises on the horizon and the somewhat unpredictable nature of global politics, why not secure something now when we know what the existing factors are.
