This Week's Lifestyle Properties and Open Homes
A somewhat quieter week but still some good activity here and there and a steady amount of inquiry. The activity suggests a moderate level of confidence in moving forward, but price seems to be the key factor in deals getting over the line. There have been multiple instances within the last two weeks of deals not quite coming together due to price gaps that both sellers and buyers can’t seem to get past. Our job is to get the best for the vendors and sometimes that means putting a bit of creative thought into how we might negotiate in order to make sure everyone feels like they are getting value. Drawing a line in the sand can often mean they will do the same and if we are in a negotiation it is likely that both sides are willing to meet in the middle and sometimes it just takes one side to keep things alive.
