It has been a fairly quiet week across the region in terms of new listings, and it appears that sales numbers will once again exceed new listings for this month. REINZ reported that sales statistics thus far show several properties sold that have been on the market for substantially more than 150 days. This is great news - older stock is moving, with vendors more open to negotiation and purchasers satisfying their conditions, within sometimes quite extensive time frames. For buyers, it is a great time to revisit older listings. Many of these properties represent excellent value and there are likely to be fewer competing offers in play.
