This Week's Lifestyle Properties and Open Homes

We are now in the official last push to Christmas, and the next few weeks are typically a busier time for the market as people look to secure their next move prior to the holidays.  With lifestyle in particular, we can often see some new activity coming from residential sales.  As residential buyers look to secure their next move, it can sometimes put those vendors under pressure and can lead to an uptick in lifestyle activity.  With more consistent better weather, better interest rates, banks competing again and new buyers coming into the market daily, we are heading in the right direction. There are currently 167 lifestyle listings in total (Napier and Hastings) 52 of which are bare land.  While we didn’t see the same rush to the market as we did last year, that is still a high number and still provides the market with a good amount of choice.  Vendors will often want some indication of activity going into Christmas and we find vendors can be very flexible with things like settlement timing and conditional offers, so it’s a good time to make a move on a property you might have been looking at for a while and we are always happy to help secure something for your Christmas wish list!
