This Week's Lifestyle Properties and Open Homes

As we get back into the swing of things the market seems to be showing good signs of activity. While it is fair to say it’s measured activity, the levels of inquiry across both bare land and lifestyle are promising and suggest a good amount of confidence in the market.  The amount of new listings across the board since returning in the New Year has been somewhat light which is a good thing as a market flooded with new stock will inevitably slow back down, so we are happy that we haven’t been completely over run with new things and that the days on the market at the moment continues to get better. The residential side of the business seems to be going very well with open home attendance and inquiry strong for both Napier and Hastings.  This tends to be our barometer for the lifestyle market and tends to have a flow on effect to us, so it’s positive to hear the details of how they are tracking.  At this stage we seem to have decent weather forecast for the next couple of weeks, and that generally brings people out and puts everyone in a better mood! Now ignore the part about less new listings because we have some great things on the horizon so stay tuned for those!
